You Think You're Brave?

Man Breaks Sound Barrier?

This is a little video that shows a skydiver setting a world record for highest freefall jump.

As you watch this, what do you think might be going through his mind? What would be going through yours if you experienced it? Why do you think he is doing this? Try to go deeper than just "setting a record". What's the bravest stunt you've attempted? How did you feel afterwards?

I think that's really cool and scary at the same time I would never do that and that is really brave.

I would never jump that high if I did at the middle of my jump I would be saying to myself "why did I do this!", and I don't know why that guy did the jump.

That was awesome. Like, holy cow he's like 100 times more brave than me. If I was him I would have prayed a thousand times before I jump for safety and making sure I don't die along the way. Actually if I was him I wouldn't have done that in the first place. I'm kinda scared of heights. Well, falling from the heights. The bravest stunt I ever pulled was when I would go play knock-knock ditch with my apartment neighbors.

I think iam not brave enough to do that because it so high and you are not sure if you're parachute pop out But I could try to do that if I was him I would pray and hope I might not die. The scariest stunt I ever did is went on a zipline on a tall mountain and going to our schools fourth floor

Holy crap, I don't think I'm that brave enough to to do that. If I was him, I would pray for guidance and to not DIE and hope that my parachute will deploy as scheduled and if I have a safe landing. The bravest stunt that I ever done is when I played knock-knock ditch at my old apartment, oh the memories! We ran and played hide and seek at the apartment too, we didn't know where everyone was, so it was a surprise running across the halls!

I think he wanted to prove something to the world and him self.taking that step off was a physical challenge as well a mental challenge. He must of had lots of things going through his mind at the time. I would have been wishing I would make it in one piece. The bravest thing I've ever done is go on the drop off fear at the X. I felt relief and couldn't walk afterwards.

I would't jump that high even if I broke the world record but it was still cool to watch

I think he was thinking about his parachute not failing so he can have a safe landing. I think he just wanted people think he is brave. I also think he'd like to be acknowlegded. Bravest stunt I did was going on the slingshot at the ex. It was very scary and also very expensive. I felt very dizzy after it

I think Felix is crazy for skydiving a such a height. I think it's cool that he almost broke two records and broke the sound barrier. I think Felix was thinking why am I doing this. The bravest thing I did was go on the dropat six flags amusement park.
